from the polar vortex of detroit to the warmth of
mexico, a group of friends migrated to sunnier
days filled with miami vices, bottomless brews,
tequila for days, the most beautiful wedding, itty
bitty bikinis, early rising + even earlier bedtimes.
there were wheelchairs + volleyball victories,
there wasn’t enough sunblock but there
was more than enough laughter + plenty
of inappropriateness to go ’round.

we were breathin’ easier,
