the christmas of a lifetime has officially passed,

the tree came down today,
the christmas music has stopped,
and all that’s left is the sweet sound of
marty out in the living room practicing the
ukelele with “NO!” mixed in as fiona clearly
has no interest in us having a life outside of her.

smorgasbord was top notch as always…
the food was the best, the Aquavit was flowing,
the humble hueter abode was filled with the voices
of loved ones, and new faces.
we got to celebrate three engagements and
each other, and it was awesome.

and come christmas morning,
we were spoiled rotten by our families
with gifts that i believe
hint at what the future holds for us.

i hope everyone had the best christmas ever!
